Norwalk is Sound humidity plus mixed housing, not one condo story. South Norwalk mill houses and two-families hide wet plaster at the sill and in the bath chase. East Norwalk and Rowayton capes sit closer to leftover storm moisture; a first floor that “dried” can still hold wet pad. Inland Cranbury and Silvermine Colonials add finished cellars and stone foundations that wick. Downtown conversions add tight baths and window AC. A buyer who wants a PDF before closing is a notes field, not a promise that we walk in. Write “cape,” “SoNo two-family,” or “finished basement” if that is you.
